So it's been a month... sorry...
On a substantially more annoying note, between the death of thousands in Iran and China and the death of one Michael Jackson, Guess which gets more media coverage, I'll give you three guesses... and the first two don't count. DingDingDing! you are correct.
Sadly enough MJ does get more media coverage, Now don't get me wrong He was a musical genius and an inspiration to many. I have no problem with entertainment media covering his death but after the first day major media channels should not be covering his death to the extent that they are. The other day I was watching the ten o'clock news and they mentioned for all of 2 minutes the riots in China, and then went back to MJ... they hadn't mentioned it at all in the six o'clock news, where more people would see it. Seriously SERIOUSLY CNN!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
On the same vein L.A. spent 1.4 million dollars on his memorial service. ARG!! in this economical situation no one should be spending 1.4 million let alone the freaken city of LA. There must be other things that need that money people. don't your school systems suck? or your health system? didn't you say that you don't have the money to put towards those causes? what? did you out aside a "Dead Famous Person Memorial Service fund"? God.
On a much happier note I got tickets the the midnight release of Harry Potter 6! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I'm so excited!!!!
Bye,
Julie
